Case Study: ASI Partners with Horen to Enrich its Service Offering
Since 2018, Horen and Asi Srl have collaborated to provide ASI’s customers, predominantly in the preserved fruit and vegetable industry, access to Horen’s top-tier Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs).ASI srl, established in 1975, is a leading player in the food brokerage domain, predominantly dealing with preserved fruits and vegetables globally. ASI’s headquarters are in Piacenza, Italy, situated in the heart of the tomato-growing region.
In anticipation of the current year’s tomato harvest season, this collaboration has fruitfully presented Horen’s tomato paste storage solution, the FC330 FruToCon IBC, to leading Italian producers. The FC330 offers tomato paste producers a storage unit that accommodates 20% more capacity while demanding less space as it can be securely stacked up to five units high.
This cooperative venture perfectly combines the strengths of both companies. ASI’s regular interaction with some of the largest global food companies enables them to deliver personalized brokerage services, competitive pricing, and pioneering products like Horen’s IBC range.
ASI appreciates the benefits of the FC330“We have tried a range of foldable liquid IBCs and the Horen FC330 gives our customers the best all-round performance. It’s stronger, more user friendly, and its lower folded height means our customers can save on reverse logistics and storage,” said Mattia Maserati, ASI Srl.
“ASI Srl is well known as a successful innovator within the tomato paste sector,” said Piotr Gaszewski, Horen’s Head of Sales for Europe. “They have high standards of Quality, Value, Innovation and Service – principles we at Horen also share, and we believe our FC330 will further enable Asi Srl to create value for its customers.”
